OUR TEAM
BIG AMA
Our Big Ama, Linda Marko, is the Co-CEO and Co-Founder of Big Ama's House. With a passion for empowerment, support, advocacy, and change, Linda is heavily involved with the day-to-day running of the houses and will often be working in conjunction with the House Manager.
With the support of Big Daddy, Alfred Whaleboat, (Co-CEO, and Co-Founder), Big Ama's House aims to help Australian Teenage girls to build the brightest future possible.
THE RESIDENTIAL TEAM
We have a residential team equipped to provide the utmost residential and well-being support for each of Big Ama's Houses.
Our residential team at each house consists of a House Manager and Team Leader, Senior Case Manager, Case Workers, and Youth Mentors/Workers. These workers are dedicated to supporting every young girl who comes through our doors.
THE SUPPORT TEAM
THE CONSULTANT TEAM
Our support teams are crucial to the running of the houses, and these team members not only provide valuable support to the residential team but also provide further wellbeing outlets to our girls.
The support team at each house consists of at least 16 qualified support workers, an on-call driver, and a cook/kitchen staff.

Our consultant team provides a multitude of perspectives and understanding in support of our girls, as well as promotive youth and cultural competence, and various health and wellbeing referrals.
Our large consultant team includes, but is not limited to, a Medical Consultant (medical + diet), a Psychological Consultant and Case Worker, Cultural Consultants (First Nations and Multicultural), Educational Consultant, Midwifery and Pregnancy Consultant, and a Fitness Consultant.
THE O.S.A.T TEAM
Our On-Site at All Times (O.S.A.T) Team is vital to the daily running of the houses, and in providing the best care and support for our girls. Our O.S.A.T team consists of support and youth workers, and site security.
OUR GIRLS
The girls we work with are arguably the most valuable asset on the Big Ama's Team. Our girls actively want change, and openly work with our staff to build their brightest future imaginable.
Each of Big Ama's Houses accommodates 6-8 girls.
